The factions are Python decision systems, and they run on your machine, not on a server. The first visit downloads a Python runtime (Pyodide) with numpy, scipy, Gradio and solvi: about 20–30 MB, once. Later visits load it from the browser cache.
This usually takes 20–60 seconds on the first visit.
